As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Worth you will be responsible for testing all the software that is built within your team and offer support to other teams when required. You will do so in collaboration with the developers in an agile way. To be successful as Quality Assurance Specialist at Worth, it helps if you have experience with cross browser testing and (mobile) device testing. 


You think outside the box, foresee where things can go wrong and advise the developers with your forecast. Writing clean and maintainable code and setting up automated tests is one of your favourite things to do, because it allows the team to deploy new features with confidence. Besides that, you are always looking at new developments and ways to improve the setup for the tests.


Working as a Quality Assurance Specialist, you are in close contact with our customers and anyone else who is involved in the process of functional design and test planning. This includes integration, acceptance testing and debugging support. Oh, and you have to document and report all the issues you come across in test reports. Does this sound like a job for you? Job requirements

Your responsibilities:

  • Get issues resolved and moved on by providing your technical input when required

  • Create test cases and test plans

  • Define and execute functional, automation and performance test plans and strategies

  • Participate in implementing the Continuous Integration practice

  • Ensure the quality of the delivered work of the cross-functional development team

  • Test software before release to our clients; This includes integration and acceptance testing

  • Offer debugging support to developers

  • Document and report all the issues you come across in test reports


You should be familiar with:

  • Strong coding ability in JavaScript (ECMAScript 6)

  • Working in an Agile environment including methods like Scrum

  • Testing with web based applications

  • With browser compatibility and manual testing

  • The software development life cycle

  • QA automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber and Robot would be fantastic

  • Certification of ISTQB and/or TMAP would be great

  • Performance/load testing would be an advantage


Nice to have or willingness to learn:

  • CodeceptJS

  • Puppeteer

  • TypeScript

  • BrowserStack
